Pre-development testing was undertaken on the site of a proposed development in Drumsillagh, Boyle, Co. Roscommon, in December 1998. The proposed development site lies within the designated archaeological area of SMR 7:74.
Four test-trenches were excavated by machine. No archaeological features or small finds were recovered from any of the trenches.
