Archaeological assessment was carried out at Knockcommon graveyard, Donore, Co. Meath, in advance of a proposed extension to the graveyard. The present fabric of the church is probably late medieval in date. Four trenches were dug in the field east of the graveyard. They revealed sod, ploughsoil and finally boulder clay. No archaeological features or objects were present.
