Pre-development testing was undertaken on the site of a proposed extension to Tulrahan graveyard, Kildarra, Co. Mayo. The proposed extension lies within the zoned area of archaeological importance for the site of ecclesiastical remains.
Four test-trenches were excavated by machine on the site of the proposed extension. In general topsoil overlay boulder clay. No archaeological features or small finds were recovered from any of the trenches.
