The site lay on the east side of Mill Road and consisted of the northern part of a large garden attached to an existing house. Test-trenches were excavated by machine and were continuous along the lines of the proposed house. Natural glacial till was exposed under 0.25–0.4m of sod and topsoil. No archaeological features were evident, and no artefacts of archaeological interest were found.
