A single trench was excavated in advance of a proposed commercial development at 49 Anne Street, Dundalk, Co. Louth. The trench was orientated north-west to south-east and was excavated to a depth of 0.6m. The fill of the trench consisted of red brick rubble contained within a brown clay loam matrix. No features or objects of archaeological interest were recovered.
