Archaeological assessment took place at the site of a proposed residential development at Dromiskin, Dundalk, Co. Louth. It lies close to an Early Christian monastic site, which includes the remains of a round tower, high cross and church, as well as evidence of souterrains and an enclosure. SMR 12:04301 is an earthwork associated with a complex of sites associated with a series of souterrains.

Four trenches were excavated along the foundations and proposed septic tank. Trenches were dug through sod, ploughsoil and then natural, yellow boulder clay. No archaeological features or objects were recovered.
