Commissioned by Limerick County Council, this work involved the investigation of a number of possible sites in advance of the Limerick Southern Ring Road.

The site consisted of a central hollow that measured 22m and was partially enclosed by a low bank 0.4m high. Two test-trenches were manually excavated. Both revealed the natural layers directly below topsoil. No features or artefacts of archaeological significance were encountered.
