Monitoring of Telecom and cable TV duct laying was carried out between 14 January and 4 February 1998. Trenches were dug on both sides of Main Street and Mill Street. Outside the 'Leinster Arms' some 18th-century pottery sherds were found, but nothing of archaeological significance was observed.
