The works associated with Bord Gáis Éireann and Kildare County Council's Urban Renewal scheme in Clane (Excavations 1997, 92) continued into February 1998. Activities focused on pipe-laying along the footpaths on Main Street and within Park View Estate to the south-west of the town. No further discoveries of note were made.
