Transfer of the licence from Martin Reid (No. 204, Excavations 1998) permitted a continuation of monitoring the topsoil-stripping along the Southern Cross Route, for a stretch that runs from within the grounds of St Columba's College, across the Little Dargle River and through Kellystown to Ticknock. It also covered a small extension of ground disturbances at Ballycullen (O12102650). The monitoring took place between 7 and 24 September. No archaeology of significance was observed.
