Three test-trenches were opened in this small development site in Dalkey village.
The surface material related to modern demolition rubble sitting on the remains of a concrete floor. Underlying this a deposit of silty clay was revealed. Finds of a modern nature were associated with this deposit. Boulder clay was present below this silty clay.
No features or finds of an archaeological nature were revealed on the site.
