The site, investigated as part of the Ballycasey–Dromoland Bypass, is described in the SMR as a possible field system. A linear stone feature faced on one side was found running roughly north-south. Among the finds were several samples of bone, part of an iron knife and a copper-alloy object.
Further investigation was recommended.
