This site was found during monitoring of topsoil-stripping during the construction of a motorway for Wicklow County Council.
An oval foundation trench with a maximum diameter of 7.5m was found. A number of postholes were found at what appeared to be the entrance, and a few more along the circumference. At one side was a further group of postholes with no obvious pattern, and nearby were two straight shallow ditches, the longest 3.5m in length, arranged radially. Flints and pottery were found in all of these features. The flints were mostly flakes struck from poor-quality flint. The pottery consisted of decorated sherds of late developed Beaker, Cordoned Urn and Vase. All of it was weathered and found in secondary contexts. A small quantity of cremated human bone was found at the side of one of the postholes.
