This site was discovered as a result of archaeological monitoring of topsoil-stripping prior to the construction of the Arklow bypass. The excavation took place from 12 June to 29 August 1997.
The site was a fulacht fiadh complex and consisted of three troughs, eight hearths and c. 100 stake- and postholes.
