This unusual site, dated to 1305–940 BC, was located in Killoran townland, north of DER18 (No. 506 Excavations 1997). It was constructed in moderately humified raised bog and occurred as three isolated roundwoods set side by side, with no other archaeological timbers within the immediate area. Most of the centre of the site had been removed by the Bord na Móna drain. As it survived, it measured 5.6m in total length and 0.22–0.35m in width. What remained of the site were the ends of the timbers at either end of a pool within the raised bog. This site indicated that much of the surrounding area was accessible without sizeable constructions.
