A housing development site to the south of a possible enclosure was tested for archaeological material on 28 February 1997. Trenches 1 and 2, which extended radially from the enclosure bank, intercepted a shallow (0.4m deep) ditch, 2m wide, on the outside of the bank. No finds were recovered and there were no other archaeological features.
