Nothing of archaeological significance was noted in either of the two test-trenches examined. The results appeared to confirm the findings from elsewhere on Rockwood Parade (Excavations 1993, 72–3, 93E0118 and 93E0162), where it was noted that the area between the Garvoge River and the line of Grattan Street/O’Connell Street consisted of made ground, probably dating from the 18th century and the walling of the river.
