This site was situated in an area of potential archaeological significance, which necessitated the original archaeological assessment (Excavations 1996, 98). It was recommended that a further trench be excavated once the upstanding buildings were removed. A potential ditch-like feature, uncovered previously, was found to be a natural scarp in the bedrock. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted.
