Pre-development testing was undertaken on the site of a proposed visitors’ centre at Tulsk, Co. Roscommon, in March 1997. Six test-trenches were excavated by machine in the areas of proposed ground disturbance.
No archaeological features or small finds were recovered from any of the trenches.
