The pipeline route of the Westport Water Supply Scheme ran from Cloonkeen, Islandeady, to the eastern edge of Westport town, Co. Mayo. As part of the archaeological assessment, prior to the commencement of the scheme, an area adjacent to SMR 88:20 (an enclosure) was tested.
No archaeological features or small finds were recovered from the area tested.
