This site was identified by aerial photography as a circular cropmark lying astride a field boundary. Owing to problems in gaining access to one of the fields only one trial-trench was dug. This showed no archaeological features but two fragments of green-glazed pottery were found within the topsoil.
It is hoped that further trial-trenching will be carried out in the second field at a future date.
