As part of the third phase of the construction of the Hewlett Packard Development near Leixlip, Co. Kildare, the stripping of topsoil for a proposed carpark was archaeologically monitored in the period 29 September–8 October 1997. Part of the site had been under tillage in earlier years, and more recently been used for the disposal of agricultural waste.
No material of archaeological interest was found during the course of this monitoring.
