Monitoring of excavation of foundations for housing development took place on this site, where previous monitoring and excavation had revealed a number of shallow pits containing charcoal and a small amount of bronze slag. During the current monitoring, five similar pits were exposed, containing burnt earth and charcoal. There was also a possible posthole. No artefacts or slag were found.
