Archaeological testing in advance of the construction of an agricultural shed was carried out at the Green, Lusk, Co. Dublin. The site of the proposed development is located south of the site of a medieval monastery. It is located to the north-west of the Early Christian monastery at Lusk and is within the area of archaeological potential in Lusk as identified in the Urban Archaeological Survey of County Dublin.
Four test-trenches did not reveal any evidence of archaeological stratigraphy. Boulder clay was exposed quite close to the surface and all finds were of a post-medieval or modern date.
