Archaeological assessment of a development site at Brunswick Street North and King Street North, Stoneybatter, Dublin 7, was undertaken on 31 July 1997.

Six trenches were opened by mechanical excavator. It was not possible to open any trenches on Brunswick Street North, as standing buildings occupy the entire frontage. Deep red brick cellars of 18th-century or later date occupied most of the area of the site. No layers of archaeological interest were recorded.
