Monitoring along the Donegal town bypass route has identified 21 sites of archaeological potential. Of primary interest are a Neolithic structure, twelve spreads of heat-fractured stone, a possible kiln and a number of possible hearths.
Investigation/post-excavation work is ongoing and it is planned to provide details in Excavations 1998.
