Cratloe Community Council has purchased part of a field to provide a westward extension of the new graveyard adjoining Crughaun Church. The existing part of the extension contains a wedge tomb (Excavations 1990, 14). Three trenches were cut across the new extension to check the possibility that the graveyard around the church may have once been more extensive prior to being walled in. No archaeological deposits were noted.
