Work was carried out on the site of the proposed new parochial hall. The site lies at the northern end of Church View, formerly Falvey's Lane, and is adjacent to the public park containing the remains of Nenagh Castle.
Six trenches were opened across the site and no features or deposits of archaeological interest were noted.
