The excavation of the undercroft of the horizontal-wheeled water-mill recorded two sole-plates and the flume support beam. Many of the other structural timbers had been removed from the site prior to excavation. A dendrochronology date (Q9273) of 787±9 has been obtained from the flume support beam.
