Testing on the site of a proposed new dwelling-house in the field adjacent to the church revealed no features or deposits of archaeological interest. The SMR includes a possible ring-barrow complex in the corner of the field, but nothing was noted. It appears that the farmer used this corner of the field for his circular feeding stations.
