In the course of ploughing, the capstone of a cist burial was accidentally removed. The site was reported to the National Museum and the interior of the cist was excavated over a period of one day.
The cist was approx. rectangular in plan (max. dimensions 0.9m x 0.6m) and was constructed of siltstone slabs. The floor had been lined with thin slabs but these had been removed before the site was inspected. The cist contains a Tripartite Bowl. The pot had been placed at the southern end of the cist. There was no evidence of a burial deposit within the cist.
