Trial-trenching took place ahead of housing development on the line of the perimeter of an Early Christian ecclesiastical enclosure.
Natural clays and gravels were found beneath a 1.1m-thick buildup of recent deposits, containing red brick, glass and ceramics, as well as a dump of stones. There were no archaeological features; the only significant find was a residual piece of worked stone.
