The site is located within the medieval walled town of Clonmel. The trial-trenches uncovered c. 2m of stratigraphy. This included the remains of what may be a medieval period house floor, dated by locally made 13th/14th-century pottery. The remaining stratigraphy was, in the main, post-medieval. The site was not developed further and full excavation did not take place.
