A Constabulary Barracks and later a market formerly stood on this 39m x 31m development site on the corner of Drogheda St. and School Lane, which is now an open grass field. Deposits on the site were found to consist of garden soil and modern demolition rubble overlying natural sand and gravel at depths of 0.2–0.8m.
