The ringfort is located at the north end of a field in which it is proposed to build 19 houses. No development is allowed within 20m of the perimeter of the monument. Thirteen trenches were dug to test the rest of the field. Drainage features were exposed over much of the area but these were not possible to date. There was no evidence for an outer ringfort ditch.
