The site consisted of two fire-pits sited about 1.3m apart in a dune which is being eroded by both wave and wind action. The dune is located on the western side of a peninsula overlooking Dog's Bay. Small boulders up to 0.5m were associated with one of the fire-pits, which measured 1.29m across and about 0.5m deep. There was a lens of charcoal in the pit. The other pit was 1.1m wide and 0.4m deep. It contained two lenses of charcoal and an animal bone which protruded from the fill at a depth of about 0.1m. The animal bone and some charcoal from the smaller pit were excavated and the section of the pits was drawn and photographed.
