A site assessment was undertaken on the remains of a small mound, disturbed by animal activity and farm improvements.
The exposed section was straightened and examined, the conclusion being that it was natural in origin, but it was recommended that, as the remains of a structure and part of a ditch had been observed there and reported some years ago, a further exploratory investigation should take place.
