An extension was planned for Mount Folly House in part of the old garden and in an area covered by stables and outhouses. Monitoring of foundation trenching revealed disturbance caused by the building of the stables. Otherwise rubbley clay covered the site which in turn overlay orange-brown pure sand. Nothing of archaeological significance was found.
