This complex of nine stone circles and a cairn discovered during the Tyrone county survey passed into Guardianship in recent years and bog stripping in connection with presentation work was carried out over six weeks in 1994. An area of c. 985 sq m was cleared of bog up to 1m deep leaving a basal layer of about 0.1m to protect the old ground surface pending reinstatement of a protective surface. Two large circles and part of a third were cleared in this way exposing circles of low, contiguous stones enclosing in one case a mass of radially set stones and in both others concentric settings of stones. At the centre of each of the three cleared circles is a single low cairn with a central cist all of which appear to have been robbed in antiquity. A double stone alignment links two of the three cleared circles. Recording work will continue in 1995.
