This site is located on the east side of Nicholas St. At the rear of the four derelict houses fronting Nicholas St are two substantial walls extending west-east. Owing to the buildings there at present it is not possible to determine if these reach the street, but it would seem that they may and that they are both the remains of the side walls of a late medieval town house, which was later divided in two (Nos. 36 and 37). There would have been another similar house to the south but the wall along Peter St. is later as this street was only laid out some time between 1840 and 1870.

To date, the only work on the site has been the supervision of demolition of the three cottages along Peter St. and genereal clearance of rubbish and growth. The wall separating Nos. 37 and 38 is over 10m high and has undergone various repairs. On its northern face is the remains of a wide fireplace at first floor level. There is an intricately carved vertical on the east side. The mantelpiece is missing. A 17th-century date has been suggested.

It is intended that further work will be carried out on this site to determine the extent of the architectural remains and if any archaeological features or deposits have survived.
