The site is located between Kevin St. Lower and Camden Row. To the west is the ancient burial ground of St Kevin's, while to the south-east is the reputed site of St Kevin's Well. The area tested occupies the basement of a partly refurbished property, most of the ground floor and associated structures of which had recently been removed to allow limited access.
The overall picture that emerges is that of a site without any evidence of significant pre-18th-century activity. From the lack of features or artefactual material of an archaeological nature it must be concluded that this site has no archaeological significance.
