Pre-development site assessment was conducted at 23/24 Eustace St. Dublin for the Peig Sayers Hotel Partnership on behalf of Archaeological Development Services Ltd., on May 12, 1994.
Completion of the building's substructure prior to inspection limited the area of investigation. The results of a test hole and one test trench revealed no evidence of archaeological activity. However this assessment must be regarded as inconclusive due to the restricted area of archaeological inspection.
