This involved monitoring of the removal of a portion of the northern road bank to provide access for a new dwelling. This site is located on south facing slopes of the hill near the O'Brien's Bridge end of 'Cromwell's Road', which, according to tradition, was taken by Cromwell and his army. The field in question is surrounded by the road, (to the south and east) and a lake to the north-east and is just east of Site 53:023, a burial ground.
Nothing of archaeological significance was noted.
