This site was previously reported on in 1989 (Excavations 1989, 45). It is located at Keeloges, Boyle. Intensive investigation within the road corridor uncovered evidence of recent land clearance, c. 1981 and historical construction of a screen and ditch. The proposed road corridor clips the northern edge of a site marked on the original edition of the 6" Ordnance Survey map.
No surviving remains were encountered within the road-take and the limited redeposited material from land clearance may indicate that the site was originally some form of enclosure.
