Unfortunately a sewage pipe had been dug through the centre of the trough. However, three phases of trough within one extended pit were indicated by the surviving stratigraphy. A quantity of waste stone and charcoal was located to the south of the trough. A second shallow pit located to the north of the trough contained both burnt and unburnt stone.
