This brief consisted of monitoring the erection of a fenced corridor through the Outer Ward of Desmond's Castle, Adare on behalf of Adare Manor Golf Club. Nothing of archaeological interest was noted in the hand-dug sockets for the fence posts which ran from the gate in the northern curtain wall, south-east to the gate in the eastern curtain wall.
