The area assessed was to the south-west of the ruined Turvey House. This area was to accommodate a club house on a golf course. The evidence from trial trenching turned up 'french' drains. Although there was no evidence of their date, it was suggested that these were dug as part of a programme of landscaping which may have coincided with the refurbishment and modernisation of Turvey House in 1732.
The site was cleared by the OPW for development.
