The development site, for 2 private dwellings, is located in the western corner and at the lowest level of a large field in which is situated a ringfort, occupying the summit of a hill and a Children's Burial Ground, both to the east. Six cuts were dug both to rest percolation and in the approximate location of the foundations of the houses. Nothing of archaeological interest was noted.
