This wedge tomb site was fully excavated and revealed an outer kerb retaining the cairn. Three cist burials were inset against the inner edge of the kerb. Both inhumed and cremated bone were recovered from below the cairn and inside the gallery, under a rough paving. These were found in association with Beaker and Food Vessel pottery. The tomb structure featured ‘buttress stones’ set at right angles against the outer face of the gallery side stones. In several cases these buttress stones interlocked with the side stones, so that the weight of each supported the whole structure.
