The site has a ruined 17th-century church and burials dating from the 17th to 19th centuries, enclosed by a D-shaped boundary wall. Evidence for a medieval church on the site are a limestone human head incorporated into the west wall of the church, and architectural fragments lying around the graveyard.
A foundation trench, 5.5m x 1.6m, was dug at the west boundary of the graveyard, in a two-day period in April. No archaeological material was found in the strata above the natural clays.
